Claim your number

Show up as you, not “unknown”.

Claim the UK number you call from, so people who look it up see it is yours rather than an unknown caller. It helps the customer deciding whether an unfamiliar number is worth calling back. Claiming is not open yet. Leave your email and we will tell you the day it opens.

You came here from 07342 377095. We have carried that number down to the form, so you do not have to type it again. Claiming adds a line to that page saying it is yours; it does not remove anything already on it.

Where claiming your number actually pays off

Not at the moment you claim it. It pays off later, on somebody else's phone, when a customer you have never met decides whether an unfamiliar number is worth answering or calling back.

Planned illustration of a tradesperson calling from an unfamiliar number, followed by a customer manually looking it up. This is not incoming caller identification.
A planned scenario, not a screenshot. The customer chooses to look the number up; nothing happens on the handset by itself, and GotMyNumber does not identify incoming callers.

Knowing when someone checks you

A lookup is usually somebody deciding whether to ring you back. Being told it happened is a candidate for a later release, not something running today, and the illustration is labelled as such.

Illustration of a planned alert telling a business owner that somebody looked up their phone number. The feature does not exist yet.

What is coming

Claim first, badge later.

Claim your number

£2.99, one-off, when it opens.

  • Tell us a number is yours
  • Prove it with a one-time code — texted to a mobile, or read out in a call to a landline
  • Its lookup page then shows it is claimed
  • £2.99, one-off
Which is it? (optional)

It tells us which page you mean. We do not publish it and it is never shown on the number’s page.

We will email you once, when it opens, then delete your address and the number. Nothing else.

Not on sale yet

Verified caller badge

Planned at £9.99. Nothing is on sale.

  • A verified badge on your number’s lookup page
  • Your business name shown, once proved
  • Proves who holds the number, not who is calling: caller ID can be faked

The badge follows claiming. One list covers both: join it on the left.

How it works

Three steps, when it opens.

01

Claim it

Tell us the number is yours. £2.99, one-off, when claiming opens.

02

Prove it

Confirm it with a one-time code — texted to a mobile, or read out in a call to a landline.

03

Show as yours

Anyone who looks the number up on GotMyNumber sees that it has been claimed.
