Block, record and report.
Repeated unwanted calls are frustrating. Blocking, keeping a record and reporting each have a different purpose.
Block a number to reduce contact.
Your phone’s call history usually offers a blocking option. Check the instructions for your device and provider. Blocking one number won’t prevent calls displaying different numbers.
Keep a simple record.
Note the date, displayed number and what happened. Keep personal notes private. A sequence of similar numbers alone does not prove the calls came from one organisation.
Report the experience.
A community report helps later visitors assess the available evidence. Reporting here does not contact the caller, block future calls or make an official report.
Different problems need different reporting routes. Your phone provider and official guidance are useful starting points for nuisance calls.
Get help beyond a lookup.
If you have shared financial information, contact your bank through a trusted route. For an immediate threat, seek emergency assistance. This website is a lookup service, not an emergency response service.
