What 055 numbers are

055 is corporate numbering. An 055 number belongs to an organisation’s own phone network rather than to a town or a region, so it tells you nothing about where the caller is.

What it costs to call

There is no fixed price. Your own phone company sets the rate, and calls to 055 numbers are not always included in the allowances that cover 01, 02, 03 and mobile calls. Check your tariff before you call one back, especially from a mobile.
